Puerto Falcón Master Plan
The Ministry of Public Works (MOPC) hired the consulting firm Control S.A. to develop a project for the integrated Customs and Borders Office in the main frontier between Argentina and Paraguay, in a city called Puerto Falcón. All the terrestrial cargo and travelers’ circulation between the capital city of Paraguay and Argentina passes through this point. The goal of the project is to create a more efficient system of inter-regional border control, integrating both countries in a single surface and system of cargo administration, thus gaining economic advantages not only of procedure but also of investment. The project considered the new system of control that required revision of truck loads by automated protocols relating to declared content.
